وتفخر مصر بكونها أول دولة في الشرق الأوسط تُجرى بها كافة امتحانات زمالة الكلية الملكية لأطباء العيون، لتسبق الجميع، ثم جاءت دبي لاحقًا في استضافة هذه الامتحانات الدولية المرموقة.
